I've bought 2 copies of Jamie T's Panic prevention on vinyl from discogs over the last few months. The first one I ended up sending back as it was skipping on 'dry off your cheeks' on side B.

On closer inspection I could see some light scratches on the areas that were skipping. So I got a refund and got another copy, and the same thing is happening again.

I cant see any scratches on this copy, so i'm thinking there's a problem with the pressing as its right at the start of the track on both copies and then it sticks and doesn't play cleanly unless I move the needle. Anyone else had a problem with it?

I've not seen anything online but maybe i'm looking in the wrong places. No, you don't. This DOES share some design features with an LP60 as both of their tonearms are essentially 'factory set' with very little room for user adjustment.

Based on the fact that the OP is having the same track skip on both copies it is quite possible that it is a bad pressing. It is also possible that the turntable is causing the issue. Only way to check is to find another turntable (preferably something with a different design) and see if you run into the same issues. I would also try emailing the label to see if they have had any other copies returned for the same issues that you are having.
